Marketing Director

Responsible for leading the development and execution of our marketing strategy and annual plan. The Marketing Director ensures excellent execution across product, customer and channel marketing, and tracks performance metrics vs. goals. You will share your experience, intuition, and insights, and leverage the expertise of others to drive growth.

Essential job tasks include developing marketing plans and devising out-of-the-box strategies for reaching insurance agents, investment advisors, and registered representatives. If you have a history of problem-solving, innovative ideas and calculated risk-taking, we would love to hear from you.


  • Develop digital and traditional marketing campaigns across multiple platforms

  • Must negotiate with agency/vendors

  • Spearhead efforts to increase SEO visibility

  • Direct, find, curate videos to accompany marketing efforts/strategies

  • Use research to develop, implement and measure strategies

  • Develop and manage lead generation strategy to ensure consistently full top of funnel for sales team

  • Design and execute marketing strategies that support the growth of current and future products across all business units

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure completion of execution plan and adherence to marketing vision and strategy

  • Adjust marketing strategy, budget and annual plan as company and/or product needs change

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop GTM strategies to support product development and launch

  • Identify and work with 3rd party marketing companies to support strategies and initiatives

  • Manage team of marketing direct reports

  • Evaluate agency/vendor performance and assess opportunities for improvement

  • Set KPIs, milestones and goals to track marketing team performance

  • Evaluate performance against KPIs and effectively communicate findings with the organization to adjust workflows as needed

  • Own marketing budget tracking, analysis, and insights development

  • Champion brand stewardship internally and externally through communications, initiatives, strategy, etc.


  • Minimum of three years of sales or marketing experience

  • Ability to present concepts in new ways and from new perspectives

  • Well-versed in using SEO/ SEM/ PPC and social media strategies

  • Excellent written and oral communication

  • Prepare and submit regular updates to Executive Team

  • Insurance Agent and Advisor Recruiting and Marketing experience required


  • Ability to meet sales targets and production goals

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Leadership skills

  • Quick witted - able to grab attention quickly with writing skills

  • Very organized with careful attention to detail, possess excellent follow up and follow through

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (correct spelling & grammar are very important)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year plus bonus
