The process

What happens between your request and your first case

Five steps, and most of the work in them is ours. Here is the whole contracting process, including who does what at each stage.

01

Create your free account at brokersalliance.com/register. There is no fee to contract and no obligation attached, so the request costs you nothing but the minutes it takes.

You provide
Your name, your contact details, and a rough idea of what you write.

Routing your request to the sales team.
02

Talk with the sales team

A member of the sales team contacts you within one business day to learn how you run your business. Together you map the carrier lineup you want to write from our 73+ relationships and flag any releases a current upline would need to sign.

The carriers you want, your production focus, and your current upline if you have one.
Brokers Alliance handles
Carrier mapping, compensation questions, and spotting which carriers require a release.
03

Complete the paperwork through one workflow

We supply every piece of contracting paperwork and you finish it inside our automated onboarding workflow. The Contracting Team then handles submission and follow-up with each carrier so it keeps moving.

You provide
Signatures and your licensing details.
Brokers Alliance handles
The paperwork, the carrier submissions, and the chasing.
04

Clear releases and get appointed

Switching from another IMO or BGA is a known road, and we walk it with you: we identify which carriers need a release, supply the forms, and re-appoint you through the same automated workflow. Release rules vary by carrier, so your contact spells out exactly what applies to your lineup.

You provide
A signed release from your current upline where a carrier requires one.
Brokers Alliance handles
Identifying which carriers need it and pushing your appointments through.
05

Go live in MyAdvisorCloud

Once carriers confirm your appointments, you are live in MyAdvisorCloud, quoting and submitting business from day one. MyAdvisorGrids, RetirementBrain, and LifeBrain ship with the contract at no monthly charge, and a dedicated case management team stands behind the cases you write.

You provide
The business.
Brokers Alliance handles
Case management, licensing support, and the technology under all of it.

What you need to get started

The short list. Everything else surfaces on that first call or inside the onboarding workflow.

  • An active insurance license. Carrier paperwork asks for your license details, and the team walks you through the rest.
  • A sense of the carriers you want to write. The directory below helps, and the mapping call fills in the gaps.
  • Your current upline details if you are switching, so release requirements surface early instead of late.
  • A free account at brokersalliance.com/register. No fee, no commitment.
