MyAdvisorGrids: your commission levels, in one place.

Carrier compensation reaches most agents as PDFs and attachments, one carrier at a time, and working out where a case is best placed becomes an afternoon nobody has. MyAdvisorGrids is the tool Brokers Alliance built so a contracted agent can see the commission levels attached to their own contract without asking anyone.

Built in house · Included with contracting · No platform fee

This page is written for licensed producers, agency owners and firms who are contracted with Brokers Alliance or considering it. MyAdvisorGrids is an agent tool. It is not a consumer rate site, and it does not quote products to the public.

What MyAdvisorGrids is

MyAdvisorGrids is the commission grid platform Brokers Alliance writes and maintains for its contracted agents. It holds carrier compensation grids across the Brokers Alliance shelf, the commission levels attached to a specific contract, and the hierarchy those levels sit in. It is reached through MyAdvisorCloud with a single sign-on, it is included with contracting, and there is no separate fee for it.

Brokers Alliance does not license this software from a vendor. It is built and maintained by its own engineers, alongside MyAdvisorCloud, RetirementBrain and LifeBrain, which is the reason it can be changed when producers ask for something rather than when a vendor schedules it.

01 · THE PROBLEM IT SOLVES

The information exists. It is just scattered.

Every carrier publishes what it pays. They publish it in different formats, on different schedules, to different people, and almost never in a form that lets you set two carriers next to each other and read the difference.

01

One shelf, one screen

The carrier compensation on your contract sits in one place instead of scattered across an inbox, so you are not hunting for the most recent attachment.

02

Your level, not street level

The platform is the system of record for agent level commission rates at Brokers Alliance, so what it shows is the level attached to your own contract rather than a published street grid. It shows contracted rates. What was actually paid on a given case is a commissions statement question, and the two are not the same thing.

03

Hierarchy is visible

If you have a downline, the levels underneath you are part of the same record rather than a separate conversation with a commissions department.

04

Kept current

Carrier data is synchronised on a schedule rather than refreshed when somebody remembers. Grids change, and a comparison built on a grid from last year is worse than no comparison.

02 · WHY IT SITS WITH A DISTRIBUTOR

Compensation is the hardest part of an upline relationship to verify.

It is easy for any distributor to describe its compensation in a sentence. Giving a contracted agent a tool that shows the levels on their own contract is a different kind of answer, and it is the one Brokers Alliance chose to build.

Top commissions from day one

Brokers Alliance pays top tier commissions from the first case, and a contracted agent can see the levels on their own contract rather than take that on trust.

Your hierarchy stays yours

Hierarchy protection has been the standing practice here for more than forty years. What you build does not get pulled back as you grow.

No fee to use it

There is no contracting fee and no platform fee. MyAdvisorGrids comes with the relationship rather than as an upsell attached to it.

03 · HOW YOU GET TO IT

Contract, sign in once, and it is there.

MyAdvisorGrids is reached from MyAdvisorCloud, which is the single sign-on for the whole Brokers Alliance suite. There is no separate account to create and no separate password to keep.

1

Get contracted

Contracting is free and a person handles it. Tell us which carriers you write and the team runs the paperwork.

2

Sign in to MyAdvisorCloud

One login covers the dashboard, the quoting and illustration tools, the marketing library and MyAdvisorGrids.

3

Open your grids

Your levels, your carriers and your hierarchy, and a contracting team on the phone if something does not look right.

04 · QUESTIONS

What producers ask about MyAdvisorGrids.

Do I have to pay for it?

No. There is no contracting fee and no platform fee at Brokers Alliance. MyAdvisorGrids is part of being contracted.

Does it show my levels or generic levels?

Yours. The platform is the system of record for agent level commission rates here, so what you see is what is attached to your contract rather than a published street grid.

Can I see my downline's levels?

Yes. Hierarchy is part of the same record, so an agency owner is not filing a request with a commissions department to find out how a downline is set up.

Is this the same thing as myAdvisorGuide?

No. The names are close enough to be worth separating: myAdvisorGuide is a product and concept guide, and MyAdvisorGrids is the commission grid platform.

Who built it?

Brokers Alliance did, and still maintains it, with the same in-house engineers who build MyAdvisorCloud, RetirementBrain and LifeBrain.

What else comes with it?

MyAdvisorCloud is the agent dashboard and the single sign-on. RetirementBrain handles retirement income planning and LifeBrain handles life case design. Quoting and illustration tools and the agent marketing library sit behind the same login.

Ask us what you would actually be paid.
