Project Assistant

The Project Assistant will work closely with the Director of Technology to maximize efficiencies and improve turnaround time of project requests from internal and external “customers” resulting in higher satisfaction scores and increased divisional productivity. The candidate will possess impeccable organization skills and a commitment to ownership of the processes assigned. They will need to be a self starter who can adapt to new challenges each day and able to focus on clear, concise, communication at all times. Multi tasking and project management skills a must.

 

IT experience is not required but must be tech savvy and able to function at a high level in Email, Calendar, Chat, Video Conferencing, Google Workspace, Trello, etc. Experience with these features is a plus.  Training will be provided for the day to day tasks with specific success metrics and regular reviews to promote long term success. Job Duties:

  • Facilitate customer communication for quick resolution of project requests.

  • Schedule, create, and submit agendas for follow ups to in person and video chat meetings as needed.

  • Promote efficiencies in task completions by anticipating needs of internal staff and bridging gaps in communication wherever possible.

  • Complete routine organizational and coordination tasks set out by the director.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks (Email, Calendar, Chat, Video Conferencing, Google Workspace, Trello, etc.)

  • Proven ability to handle multiple requests and projects at once in a fast paced environment

  • Willingness and eagerness to learn
