Your hierarchy stays yours. Point your own AI at it.
Brokers Alliance is building a read-only connection that lets a BGA principal ask their own assistant where their hierarchy's cases and contracting sit with us. Pilot. The first hierarchy joins by invitation.
Your downline is yours. That does not change because a model can read it.
Brokers Alliance has protected downline hierarchies since 1982. The connection described on this page is built on the same rule: the hierarchy is the owner, the principal decides who sees what, and Brokers Alliance stays out of the conversation.
Most of what a BGA principal wants to know about the business their hierarchy places through a distributor is already sitting in that distributor's systems. Where does the case sit. Which requirements are open. Which contracting packets are waiting on a signature. Getting that answer usually means an email, a call, and a wait. We are building a way for a principal to ask their own assistant instead.
What it is, and what it is not
What it is
A read-only connection that lets a BGA principal point their own AI assistant, their Claude or ChatGPT, at the cases and contracting their hierarchy places through Brokers Alliance. You bring the assistant. We bring the data your hierarchy already owns. Brokers Alliance is not in the conversation.
| In scope | Out of scope |
|---|---|
| Case status for the business your hierarchy places through Brokers Alliance | Anyone else's hierarchy. The connection is scoped to yours. |
| Open requirements on those cases | Commission grids. Grid detail stays where it is today. |
| Contracting and appointment progress for your hierarchy | Changing a case. Nothing in the connection changes a case. |
| When each answer was last updated, and where it came from | Sending a transaction. Nothing in the connection sends one. |
| Who in your office can see it, decided by you | Contact with your downline agents by Brokers Alliance. |
How it is built to work
- Permissions are decided on the Brokers Alliance side, not by the assistant. A request for a broader scope is refused there, whatever the assistant asks for.
- Named users. The principal names who in the office has access. There is no shared login.
- Downline agents are off unless the principal turns them on, and can be turned off again.
- Every request is logged. A principal can see what was asked and when.
- Each answer names its source and when that source was last updated. If the source does not hold the answer, the answer says so.
- Access can be turned off. When a hierarchy relationship changes, access changes with it.
What read-only means
Read-only describes what the connection can change: nothing. It is not a claim about what your assistant vendor keeps or does not keep. That is set by the assistant you choose and the terms you hold with them, and you should read those terms the way you would read a carrier contract.
Pilot. The first hierarchy joins by invitation.
This is a pilot, and we say so in plain words rather than dress it up. The first hierarchy is being selected with the Brokers Alliance sales team. Terms are set with each hierarchy. Commission grids and anything that changes a case wait on written answers from carriers and from our case-management platform, and until those answers are in hand they stay out.
If you would rather see it than read about it, ask your Brokers Alliance sales contact for a recorded working session against your own hierarchy's data. That session is the test: does it answer what you actually ask, does it name its source, and does it refuse what it should refuse.
What the AI does not do
- No suitability verdicts.
- No policy health scores.
- No product recommendations.
- No case changes.
- No transactions.
- No contact with your downline agents by Brokers Alliance.
The connection is the new part. The rest is already here.
Regardless of the pilot, a hierarchy that places business through Brokers Alliance gets the technology we build in house, white-labelable under your own brand: MyAdvisorCloud, MyAdvisorGrids, RetirementBrain and LifeBrain. No fee to contract, no minimums, no production requirements. Behind that, a contracting, underwriting and case-management team that tracks every case digitally, reviews it daily, and picks up the phone. Read how we run case management and the questions to put in writing to any distributor.
Before you ask for the pilot
Who in my office can see what?
You decide. Access is by named user, set by the principal. Downline agents are off unless you turn them on, and you can turn any user off again.
Can I revoke it?
The connection is built so that the principal can turn any user, or the whole connection, off, and so that access changes when a hierarchy relationship changes. The pilot terms put that in writing before the first hierarchy connects.
Does Brokers Alliance see my conversations with my assistant?
No. Brokers Alliance is not in the conversation. What we hold is the log of what the connection was asked and when, which you can see too.
Does carrier data come through it?
Only what Brokers Alliance already holds for the business your hierarchy places through us: case status, requirements, contracting and appointment progress. The connection does not reach into a carrier's own systems.
What about my commission grids?
They stay out of the connection. Grid detail is handled the way it is today until we have written answers from carriers on what may travel through an assistant.
What does it cost?
Terms are set with each hierarchy in the pilot. Ask your sales contact.
Ask about the pilot. Your sales contact can start it.
Brokers Alliance is a second-generation, family owned life and annuity IMO, FMO and BGA, founded in 1982 in Fountain Hills, Arizona. No fee to contract.
