AI AT BROKERS ALLIANCE · HOW TO JOIN

How to join an AI-enabled BGA

Four routes, none of them a form that disappears. Contract as an agent, bring a hierarchy, ask about the pilot, or talk about succession.

Family owned since 1982 · Fountain Hills, AZ · No fees to contract

HOW TO JOIN

Pick the route that matches how you work

Brokers Alliance is a family-owned IMO, FMO and BGA, founded in 1982 and led since 2009 by the founder's son. It runs its own recruiting, marketing and case operations on automation it built and monitors, with a named person responsible for every regulated decision. Joining it means one of the routes below. Each route has its own terms and its own next step, and none of them requires you to use any AI at all.

If you want the background before you choose, read the AI hub and our AI technologies, which explains how access and oversight work. If you want to know whether a wholesale partner is the right shape for you at all, the criteria table is the honest version of that question.

INDEPENDENT AGENTS

Contract as an independent agent

What it is

Carrier contracts through Brokers Alliance, with case design, in-house contracting and the technology behind them. There is no fee to contract or to work with Brokers Alliance, and no minimums. Compensation comes from standard carrier commissions and overrides. The carrier lineup runs to 73+ carrier relationships across life, fixed and indexed annuities, final expense, IUL, long-term care and linked-benefit, and disability. Behind the contracts sits a dedicated advanced-markets and IUL desk for case design, premium finance, Section 79 and estate planning support, and a case-management team that tracks status, requirements and appointment progress digitally and reviews them daily.

Who it is for

Licensed producers who run their own practice and want a wholesale partner behind it: contracts, case design, technology and marketing support. It is not for someone looking for purchased leads, scripts or a captive structure. Brokers Alliance is not a lead vendor and not a captive agency.

What happens next

You reach the contracting team through contact. The conversation covers the carriers you want and how you work. The paperwork moves through the automated contracting and onboarding system, and the technology ships with the contract: MyAdvisorCloud, MyAdvisorGrids, RetirementBrain and LifeBrain, at no monthly charge. Use what is useful and ignore the rest. More on this route at for independent agents.

AGENCIES AND HIERARCHIES

Affiliate a hierarchy or agency

What it is

Your agency or hierarchy places business through Brokers Alliance under your contract. The hierarchy stays yours. Brokers Alliance does not contact your agents. Your producers keep their relationship with you, and Brokers Alliance works with you, not around you.

Who it is for

Agency owners and principals with a downline who want carrier breadth, a case-design bench and in-house technology behind their own organization, without handing over the relationship with the people they recruited.

What happens next

A conversation through contact about the structure you have, the carriers you need and what your agents use today. There is no fee to contract or to work with Brokers Alliance, and that holds for a hierarchy as it does for an individual producer. The technology and the case-design desk come with the contract in the same way. More on this route at for agencies.

THE PILOT

Apply for the BGA connection pilot

What it is

Brokers Alliance is building a connection that lets a BGA principal point their own Claude or ChatGPT at the cases and contracting they place through Brokers Alliance. It reads and cannot write: nothing in it changes a case or sends a transaction. It is scoped to the principal's own hierarchy. Downline agents are off unless the principal turns them on. Brokers Alliance is not in that conversation. It is a pilot, and the terms are set with each hierarchy.

Who it is for

A BGA principal who already works with an assistant and wants it pointed at their own book with Brokers Alliance, under permissions decided on Brokers Alliance's side, with named users and a log of every request.

What happens next

The initial hierarchy is being selected with the Brokers Alliance sales team, and it joins by invitation. Applying means telling the sales team, through contact, that you want to be considered, and what you would point the connection at. Read for BGA principals before you do; it covers what the connection returns and what it refuses to do.

SUCCESSION

Sell or perpetuate a BGA or agency

What it is

A confidential conversation about the future of the agency you built: a sale, a perpetuation plan, or a way to keep serving the agents in it after you step back. It starts with your records and your questions, not with a number.

Who it is for

Owners of a BGA or agency who are thinking about succession and want to talk to a second-generation, family-owned firm that has been through its own transfer of ownership.

What happens next

Read insurance agency valuation for what drives the value of a book and the questions to ask any buyer, then start the conversation at sell your agency. Nothing about that conversation is public, and nothing on this page is an offer.

WHAT IT IS NOT

What none of this does

Whichever route you take, the AI in the name of this page is a description of how Brokers Alliance runs, not a service that does any of the following:

  • No suitability verdicts.
  • No policy health scores.
  • No product recommendations.
  • No case changes.
  • No transactions.
  • No contact with a hierarchy's downline agents by Brokers Alliance.
QUESTIONS

Short answers

Is there a fee to contract?

No. There is no fee to contract or to work with Brokers Alliance. Compensation comes from standard carrier commissions and overrides, and MyAdvisorCloud is provided to contracted producers at no monthly charge.

Do I have to use any of the AI?

No. The technology ships with the contract and you decide what to open. A producer who uses none of it is contracted on the same terms as one who uses all of it.

Can my upline keep the connection off for my agency?

Yes. Downline agents are off unless the principal turns them on, and the principal can turn the connection off. Nothing under a hierarchy is visible through the connection without the principal's say.

Does the pilot cost anything?

Terms are set with each hierarchy as part of the invitation, and this page does not state them. What it does state is the design: read access, one hierarchy, agents off unless the principal turns them on, and an off switch.
