BUILT IN HOUSE

What Brokers Alliance builds, and who gets it

Brokers Alliance writes its own software. An in-house development team, led by a technology-focused owner-operator, builds the tools that contracted producers use every day. Those tools are handed to contracted partners with the contract and are provided at no monthly charge.

The platform

  • MyAdvisorCloud: an advisor business platform and CRM for contracted producers.
  • MyAdvisorGrids: commission-grid and carrier-compensation comparison, so a producer reads the grid before contracting rather than after.
  • RetirementBrain: retirement income planning and illustration tools.
  • LifeBrain: life case design and product support.
  • Automated contracting and onboarding: the paperwork moves through a system Brokers Alliance built, and carrier appointments are processed in house.

That is the product side, and it is the part most producers already know. The rest of this page is about the other half: how Brokers Alliance runs its own operation, how anything regulated gets onto this site, and how access to the BGA connection is designed. For the definitional version, read what an AI-enabled BGA is. For the overview, start at the AI hub.

HOW THE OPERATION RUNS

Automation does the work. A named person owns the decision.

Recruiting, marketing and case operations at Brokers Alliance run on automation the company built and monitors itself. Inbound inquiries are routed by it. Case status, requirements and appointment progress are tracked digitally through it and reviewed daily by a dedicated case-management team. The marketing that brought you to this page is measured by it. These are systems the company wrote, not products it bought and renamed.

What automation does not do here is decide. Every regulated decision has a named person responsible for it: what is said to a producer about a product, what goes on a page about a commission or a carrier, what is done on a case. The software prepares, sorts, flags and drafts. A person decides and signs.

This page does not carry an inventory of what runs behind the operation, and it does not name vendors. An inventory tells you what a company bought. It is not evidence of anything a producer can use. Accountability is, and the sections below are about how to check it. The measured side of casework, what is tracked and how it is reviewed, is on service standards.

PUBLISHING

How a page gets onto this site

Regulated content on brokersalliance.com, meaning anything about a product, a commission, a carrier or a case, is reviewed and signed by a named person before it is published. The signer's name appears on the page.

Drafting tools are used in the writing of this site, the same way they are used across the operation, and the same rule applies: the tool drafts, a person reads every line, and that person's name goes on the result. The name is not a courtesy. It is the answer to the question "who is responsible for this sentence", written where you can see it.

If a regulated page reaches you without a name on it, that is a defect. The contact page is the way to report it.

CHECK IT YOURSELF

What you can open right now

Do not take the sections above on trust. The following can be opened by any visitor without asking anyone at Brokers Alliance:

  • brokersalliance.com/llms.txt: a plain-text statement of what Brokers Alliance is, who owns it, what it charges and what it builds, written so that assistants and search engines read it, and readable by a person in a browser. If your assistant describes Brokers Alliance to you, this is a file it can cite.
  • The JSON-LD on every page: view the source of any page on this site and the structured data is there, naming the organization, the author and the publisher. It is the same data an assistant or a crawler reads.
  • The signer line on regulated pages: a name and a title, on the page, for the person who reviewed it.

Those are the checks. Anything on this page that cannot be pointed at in that way is a description, and you are welcome to weigh it as one.

THE BGA CONNECTION

How access to the BGA connection is built to work

Brokers Alliance is building a connection that lets a BGA principal point their own Claude or ChatGPT at the cases and contracting they place through Brokers Alliance. It is a pilot. The initial hierarchy is being selected with the Brokers Alliance sales team, and it joins by invitation. The design below is written in the present tense because it is how the connection is being built, not a feature list for something on sale.

The design

  • Permissions are decided on Brokers Alliance's side. What a request is allowed to return is settled on the server, before anything is returned, not by the assistant asking.
  • Named users. Access is granted to named people, not to an agency in the abstract.
  • Scoped to one hierarchy. A principal sees the cases and contracting placed through Brokers Alliance under their own hierarchy, and nothing outside it.
  • Downline agents are off unless the principal turns them on. The principal decides which agents, if any, get access under their hierarchy. The default is none.
  • Every request is logged.
  • Access can be turned off. By the principal, and by Brokers Alliance.
  • Nothing in the connection changes a case or sends a transaction. It reads. Whether a carrier ever accepts an instruction that originated in an assistant is a carrier question, and the connection does not get ahead of it.
  • Commission grids are not in the connection. Those stay in MyAdvisorGrids, in a browser, where a person reads them.
  • Brokers Alliance is not in the conversation. The assistant belongs to the principal, and so does the conversation with it.

For what this means if you run a BGA, read for BGA principals. For how the pilot is joined, read how to join.

READ ACCESS

What read access means, and what it does not

Read access describes what the connection can change: nothing. A request through the connection returns information about cases and contracting placed under the principal's hierarchy, and that is the whole of what it does. It does not write to a case, does not file a requirement, does not move a contract and does not send anything to a carrier.

It is not a claim about what an assistant vendor keeps. What a principal's assistant retains from a conversation is governed by the principal's agreement with that vendor, and Brokers Alliance is not a party to it. This page does not say "your data is never stored", because Brokers Alliance cannot say that on a vendor's behalf. What it can say is that the connection itself changes nothing on our side, and that a principal can turn it off.

WHAT IT IS NOT

What none of this does

  • No suitability verdicts.
  • No policy health scores.
  • No product recommendations.
  • No case changes.
  • No transactions.
  • No contact with a hierarchy's downline agents by Brokers Alliance.

If a tool, a page or a person at Brokers Alliance appears to be doing one of those, that is the defect to report, and the contact page is where.

QUESTIONS

Short answers

Which AI does Brokers Alliance run?

This page does not name vendors or models, on purpose. A vendor list tells you what a company bought. The things you can check, the signer line, the JSON-LD and llms.txt, tell you who is accountable for what the company says. That is the useful part.

Does automation decide anything about my case?

No. Automation tracks, sorts and flags. A named person on the case-management desk is responsible for every regulated decision on our side, and the carrier makes its own.

Do I have to use any of this to contract?

No. The technology ships with the contract at no monthly charge, and a producer who wants none of it is contracted on the same terms. There is no fee to contract or to work with Brokers Alliance.

Can I get into the BGA connection now?

It is a pilot. The initial hierarchy is being selected with the sales team and joins by invitation. The way to raise your hand is the join page or a conversation through contact.

Is Brokers Alliance an AI company?

No. It is a family-owned IMO, FMO and BGA, founded in 1982 and led since 2009 by the founder's son. AI describes how it runs part of its own operation. It does not describe what the company is.
