Life Happens and LIMRA partnered together to conduct the 2018 Insurance Barometer Study. This study takes a pulse on what consumers think about their finances, and more specifically, what they think about insurance. LIMRA and Life Happens found that, “Millennials need life insurance information and education; they are the most likely to be uncertain about product types, coverage amounts and qualifying for coverage.” The study also found that, “44% of Millennials overestimate the cost of life insurance by five times the actual amount.” With this knowledge in hand, we can see that Millennials are in need of the facts.
