AI AT BROKERS ALLIANCE · FOR ADVISORS

What an AI-enabled BGA means for an advisor

Case design and case tracking run on automation we built and monitor. Suitability, product choice and advice stay with you. The AI does not score a policy or pick a product.

FOR ADVISORS

Automation behind the desk, a person on the case

This page is written for an advisor: a registered representative, an investment adviser representative, or a life and annuity producer who works cases that need design rather than order taking. It describes what the word AI means at Brokers Alliance for the work you already bring us, and it stays inside that scope on purpose. Nothing here is investment advice, a suitability opinion or a product recommendation, and nothing we run produces one.

Brokers Alliance is a family owned IMO, FMO and BGA, founded in Fountain Hills, Arizona in 1982 and owner-led since 2009. For an advisor the firm shows up in two places. The dedicated advanced-markets and IUL desk does case design, premium finance, Section 79 and estate planning support beside the advisor who owns the client; the desk is described on the advanced markets page. The RIA, broker-dealer and retirement plan relationships, for advisors who want insurance and advisory work under one roof without giving up independence, are on the retirement plan and RIA page.

Behind both, the firm runs its own recruiting, marketing and case operations on automation it built and monitors, with a named person responsible for every regulated decision. That is a description of how we work. It is not a category, and it is not a claim that software does the thinking on your case. The desk is human. The tooling behind it is not the desk.

YOUR CASES

What the automation does for a case you place through us

Case records are tracked digitally through our case-management system and reviewed daily. Case status, requirements and appointment progress are tracked digitally and reviewed daily by a dedicated case-management team. Carrier appointments are processed in house, across 73+ carrier relationships. That is what the automation is for: keeping the record current so that a person can review it every day, and so that the answer to "where is my case" comes from the record and not from memory.

What it is not for is judgment. The desk designs the case. Underwriting is argued by people. The decision to place a case, and with whom, belongs to you and your client. Software keeps the file straight. It does not decide anything about the file.

There is no turnaround promise on this page, and none anywhere on this site. We publish what we measure and how we work, not a clock time, because a typical-case number varies by carrier, product and case. The measured description is on the service standards page.

THE SIGNER

A named person behind every regulated page

Advisors read compliance language for a living, so here is ours in one paragraph. Regulated content on brokersalliance.com is reviewed and signed by a named person before it is published, and the signer's name appears on the page. Product pages, the advanced markets pages, anything that touches compensation: a person read it, put their name on it, and answers for it. Automation drafts, checks and tracks. A person signs.

The same principle runs through the operation. Every regulated decision has a named person responsible for it. When you ask the desk who designed a case or who argued an underwriting offer, you get a name, not a system.

This is a deliberate shape of claim. We describe how we work and point at what you can open. We do not ask you to take a category on faith, and we do not put a count of anything in front of you as proof.

THE PILOT CONNECTION

Where an advisor sits in the pilot

Brokers Alliance is building a connection that lets a BGA principal point their own Claude or ChatGPT at the cases and contracting their own hierarchy places through Brokers Alliance. It carries read access, which means it changes nothing. It is scoped to the principal's hierarchy. Brokers Alliance is not in that conversation. It is a pilot: one hierarchy is being selected with the Brokers Alliance sales team, and it joins by invitation.

The connection applies to a hierarchy principal. If you are an advisor inside a hierarchy, you are off unless your principal turns you on, and your principal can turn you off again. The principal sees the business placed through their hierarchy, the way a principal does today. Beyond the principal, no access exists by default, and none is granted around the principal by Brokers Alliance.

If you run your own hierarchy, you are the principal in that sentence, and the principals page is written for you. Either way, the connection is about the file: case status, requirements, contracting packets. Commission grids are not in it. Nothing in it changes a case or sends a transaction. It has nothing to say about what a client should own.

THE NOT-LIST

What the AI does not do

Every page on this hub that describes our automation carries this list. For an advisor it is the part that matters most, because the things on it are exactly the things a licensed professional is paid to decide.

  • It does not judge suitability. Whether a product fits a client is your call and your compliance department's, and nothing we run offers an opinion on it.
  • It does not score a policy. There is no health grade on an in-force contract and no ranking of one client's coverage against another's.
  • It does not pick a product. No carrier, no product, no rider is recommended by software, to you or to anyone in your hierarchy.
  • It does not change a case. The connection reads, and reading changes nothing.
  • It does not send a transaction. No application, no money, no policy change moves through it.
  • It does not put Brokers Alliance in contact with a hierarchy's downline agents.

The plain version: the automation keeps the record straight and the people make the calls. If that is not what an AI story is supposed to sound like, good. It is the one we can stand behind in front of a regulator, a carrier and your client.

CHECK IT

What you can check for yourself

We point at three things because you can open each of them without asking us.

  • brokersalliance.com/llms.txt, the plain-text description of the firm that we publish for machines and people alike. What it says about us is what we say about us.
  • The JSON-LD in the source of every page. It names the organization, the author and the publisher of the content you are reading, in a form any parser can read.
  • The signer line on regulated pages. It carries the name of the person who reviewed the page before publication.

That is the whole list. We do not describe monitoring a visitor cannot see, and we do not ask you to take our word for anything on this page that you could check yourself. The fuller account of how we use automation inside the firm is on how we use AI.

QUESTIONS

Questions advisors ask

Does anything you run recommend a product or judge suitability?

No. Suitability and product selection are licensed judgments made by you, with your client and your compliance process. No software at Brokers Alliance scores a policy, ranks a client or picks a product.

I am an IAR under the RIA. Does this change my advisory work?

No. The automation described here tracks cases and contracting placed through Brokers Alliance. It has nothing to do with the advisory side of your practice and produces no investment advice.

Can I use the pilot connection as an advisor inside a hierarchy?

You are off unless your principal turns you on. The connection is built for the principal of a hierarchy, and access inside that hierarchy is the principal's decision to make and to reverse.

How do I bring a case to the desk?

Call (480) 210-7892 or use the contact page. The advanced-markets and IUL desk works case design, premium finance, Section 79 and estate planning support with the advisor who owns the client. There is no fee to contract.

Where is the plain definition, and the way in?

The definition is on what an AI-enabled BGA is. The path for a hierarchy is on the join page. The pilot is by invitation, and one hierarchy is being selected with the sales team.
